According to information provided by another researcher, Michael Sherrard was the son of John Sherrard (b. 6 Jun 1770 Derry, Ireland; d. 24 Aug 1849, Morgan Co WV) and ______ Mattocks who died about 1806) and was a triplet, brothers, Henry and William having been born at the same time. Henry married Barbara Radabaugh in Muskingum Co OH on 6 Feb 1823. No info on William. These triplets were born 2 July 1796 at Gerrardstown, Berkeley, WV. Other siblings were John, David (b. abt 1791 and d. Muskingum Co OH abt 1877 and married Eliza Casteel); Margaret (married Charles S. Fleming in Muskingum Co OH on 4 Mar 1830); Jane and Abraham Sherrard.
